WORKKEYS SKILLS ASSESSMENT PROGRAM

Gaps between job requirements and workforce skills concern employers, educators and others who work together to ensure individuals are well prepared for higher-skill and higher-wage jobs.

The Alliance is able to match job seeker skills to specific jobs through the WorkKeys Assessment Program. WorkKeys is a program that employers can use to identify and develop workers for a wide range of jobs. The program measures "real world" skills that employers believe are critical to job success. The assessment tests evaluate an individual's communication, problem solving and teamwork aptitude. Three key areas employers know are important to their business.
